Autosport International's trade days were considered a great success as the show closed after another busy day.

Continuing yesterday's successful theme, the show saw many exhibitors launching new products. One of today's highlights was a brand new fuel cell using the 'all fuel' bladder, launched by Aero Tec Laboratories.

The cell can be used with any fuels making it compatible with the ever-growing number of green fuel solutions. ATL also makes fuel cells for Formula One teams, which are all-new for 2010. New Formula One regulations have now banned refueling so the teams require tanks some 30 percent bigger than before. "It's a whole new challenge for the teams, they now have to engineer and manage all of that extra weight and fuel, and we have created new baffles within the lightweight cell to help manage the mass, said Director Kevin Malloy. “The show has provided a great platform to launch the new cell and materials, and our stand has been constantly busy."

Regular exhibitor Deutch UK, had its new connector on display, the smallest and lightest weight connector currently on the market which is 23 per cent smaller than its predecessor. Also on display were examples of the company's industry-leading connectors which can be found in every F1 car and in race series all over the world including WRC, Moto GP and NASCAR. Paul Webb, Autosport Specialist commended,"The show has been really successful, uur stand has been packed with new customers, not just existing clients."

"We have had two very positive days at Autosport International," said Show Director Ian France. "The diversity of the exhibitors is remarkable, and highlights the quality of the motorsport industry not only in this country, but to our overseas visitors. It's really encouraging that exhibitors are choosing the show to launch new products."
