Usually only available for professional formula one divers, at Autosport International 2010 we provided show-goers the unique opportunity to put your skills to the test.

The Mobil 1 Grand Prix simulator is the most realistic racing experience around, based on a full size 2009 specification racing car it has all the features you would expect of a formula one car, such as authentic padded cockpit headrest, 4 point racing harness, F1 style gear lever paddles, F1 show tyres and a quick release f1 style carbon fibre steering wheel.

Unlike other formula one simulator’s the Mobil 1 Grand Prix simulator allows you to experience the movement of the car under acceleration, braking and cornering conditions. However, it does not put your body under the kind of strain a normal racing driver would be under....perfect! There is also a built in 5.1 surround sound system to give an incredible aural experience. Before now only professional racing drivers have used this technology to help them train, but at Autosport International 2010 visitors had an exclusive opportunity to have a go and see if they could handle the power of a Formula One car.
