F1 RACING GRID: GRAND PRIX PARADISE

The F1 Racing display was a popular element of the show, with Jenson Button's title-winning Brawn BGP001 taking pride of place alongside a McLaren, the brand new version which Button tested on 3 February for the first time.

The collection of the highest echelon of Grand Prix racing machinery could be seen up close, and amazed onlookers with the attention-to-detail. F1 cars really are works of art, and Autosport International offered a very rare chance to see the machines that race week after week on TV up close and in person.

Besides the stunning cars, the F1 Racing stand played host to celebrities over the weekend, and while Button was a star attraction, Sir Stirling Moss's very enjoyable, and very un-politically correct recollections also had the crowd on tenterhooks...
